Macon Money

The Financial Planning Association® (FPA®) will team up with Macon Mayor Robert Reichert and the U.S. Conference of Mayors to host Macon Money Day, a free public event for community members to receive complimentary financial planning advice from FPA members.

Macon Money Day participants can attend educational seminars that address topics including budgeting and cash management, retirement planning and how to repair credit. Event attendees will also be able to meet with financial planners one-on-one to ask personal finance questions.

"The economic crisis reinforced the importance of helping Americans understand how to manage their money and plan for their future," said Marv Tuttle, Executive Director and CEO of the Financial Planning Association. "Macon Money Day is a terrific way for FPA to share the tremendous knowledge of its ethical and highly qualified members with the community at large -- and to help them make wise financial decisions."
